
























This listing is for a SCARCE, antique set of three hand painted Royal Worcester Vases dating to 1881. The large vase is painted with a large bird on the front. One of the smaller vases is painted on the front with a woman walking in the field outside her house carrying a basket and on the back is painted a robin-like bird. The other smaller vase is painted on the front with a woman sitting on a log outside her house talking to a child and on the back is painted a picture of a sparrow-like bird. The vases are all modelled the same, save for the size, and each have twin-handlesfeaturing dolphin heads. There is gold gilding on the rectangular bases, rims and handles and the gilding is intact. The vases are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. The larger vase measures 11 inches tall, 5 inches wide at the handles and 3 1/4 inches deep. The two identically shaped vases measure 9 1/4 inches tall x 4 inches at the handles and 2 3/4 inches deep. The larger vase has the puce worcester stamp for 1881 and th two other vases have the green worcester stamp for 1881. The 3 vases weigh a combined 3 lbs 13 oz.
