Nippon Imperial Takitori Blue Birds Bamboo & Gold Beaded Demitasse Cup & Saucer. Nice antique Aesthetic style porcelain demitasse cup and saucer. Decorated with hand painted blue birds and bamboo trees. With gold gilding to the outside of the handle. The edge of the cup and saucer have gold gilding with red beading. Marked on the bottom Imperial T Takitori Nippon. Circa 1891 to 1921. Has some loss beading and some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 3 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/2 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
